I never thought french toast can be as festive as this! Love eggnog mixed in baked treats, I never thought it can bring french toast to a whole new level. Great!
I featured this recipe on my blog today! Thank you so much for sharing this. I can't wait to try this on Christmas morning!
What is the actual measurement of a "knob of butter"?
A knob of butter is like a small nugget, about a tbsp, but you can use a tsp at a time for frying. It tends to get absorbed with french toast so you have to keep adding to the pan depending on how many batches you're frying up. Add a little oil to that if you don't want the butter to get brown and burn too fast on you while frying.
Really just enough for frying.
I saw this on Pinterest, it inspired me to try it, I loved it, here's my version http://simplefoodeveryday.blogspot.ca/2012/12/eggnog-french-toast.html
